It's honestly rather bewildering that everyone's so gung-ho about repealing this law that's not going to be enforced and hardly anyone's talking about correcting 389A on marital rape, which may possibly affect about half the bloody population, dammit.
I think I actually see 377A's repeal as the first step towards a few positive rights - I want to marry and adopt kids, dammit, and there's no way I can do that if my bedroom activities are still banned on the books. So sign the letter already, if you haven't done so yet.
